Open research library
AI research, statistics, and reusable data
Source-audited evidence for people deciding where AI belongs in a business. Read the method, inspect the limitations, and download the normalized records without an email gate. The original publisher remains the authority for every underlying claim.
Research library
Read the analysis. Download the records.
Dataset articles explain what each figure measures and why apparently conflicting numbers can all be accurate. Downloads keep those definitions and limitations attached.
Normalized dataset
AI adoption statistics for 2026
A source-audited comparison of U.S. Census, enterprise, and small-business adoption estimates. Each record preserves its population, period, definition, source, and limitation.
Release template
Conversational AI release checklist
A blank 24-dimension checklist for purpose, channels, knowledge, identity, data, tools, integrations, handoff, evaluation, monitoring, incidents, change, and exit.
Visibility audit template
AI visibility audit template
A blank 27-dimension audit for technical eligibility, prompts, citations, entity facts, source evidence, referrals, qualified conversions, revenue attribution, cadence, and change control.
Qualification template
Agentic AI use-case scorecard
A blank 20-dimension scorecard for value, ownership, sources, identity, actions, risk, outcome evidence, exceptions, evaluation, security, economics, monitoring, change, and exit.
Implementation roadmap
AI implementation roadmap template
A blank 24-dimension plan across outcomes, readiness, architecture, evaluation, release, operation, monitoring, change, rollback, and exit.
Normalized dataset
AI productivity statistics for 2026
A comparison of field experiments, randomized studies, workplace surveys, and model-based estimates without combining incompatible tasks or populations.
Normalized dataset
AI project failure statistics for 2026
A source-audited comparison of forecasts, abandonment, prototype-to-production, broad-adoption, impact, and root-cause evidence without mixing unlike denominators.
Knowledge audit template
AI knowledge management audit
A blank 20-dimension audit for purpose, source authority, ownership, freshness, access, ingestion, retrieval, grounding, evaluation, correction, monitoring, change, and exit.
Evaluation template
AI agent evaluation plan
A blank 22-dimension plan for tasks, expected outcomes, graders, mandatory gates, repeated trials, thresholds, owners, production feedback, and calibration.
Pilot decision template
AI pilot acceptance plan
A blank 20-section plan for workflow, baseline, alternatives, owners, cohort, evidence, controls, metrics, economics, expansion, stop, decision, and exit.
Implementation template
AI governance control matrix
An 18-control working matrix organized around Govern, Map, Measure, and Manage. It is an operational planning aid, not an official NIST crosswalk, certification, or legal opinion.
Blank template

Research method
Numbers stay useful only when their context stays attached.
Prefer original evidence
Government datasets, working papers, published experiments, and named institutional reports take priority over unsourced roundups and repeated secondary claims.
Preserve the denominator
Every statistic keeps the population, task, period, comparison, and definition that make it interpretable. Percentages from different populations are not averaged together.
Carry limitations with the number
Self-reporting, selection, vendor sponsorship, task boundaries, and causal limits stay beside the result in both the article and downloadable record.
Separate evidence from a sales claim
Market adoption and study results do not prove a return for a specific workflow. A purchase decision still needs a measured baseline, accepted outcomes, costs, and exceptions.

Citation guidance
Cite the original result and the normalized compilation.
Cite the original publisher for the statistic itself. Cite Cognautic for the normalized compilation, and preserve the record’s population, period, definition, and limitation. The statistics datasets and reusable templates are licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Suggested compilation citations: Cognautic. “AI Adoption Statistics for 2026” or “AI Productivity Statistics for 2026.” Updated August 16, 2026. For journalists and analysts
Use the data with its method, limitations, and correction path attached.
The media desk collects company facts, interview topics, source notes, citation guidance, and a downloadable index of the open datasets. Media inquiries are routed separately from sales and support.

A market statistic cannot choose your first workflow.
We map one bounded process, establish its baseline, name its exceptions and authority boundaries, and put the build, operating cost, acceptance tests, and measurement window in writing before you spend.
